Hunting in Croatia Bear Mouflon Axis Deer Wild Boar Kri Kri Ibex

A record breaking European Brown Bear in Croatia

Congratulations go out to Benyi Boyd who has taken the largest European brown bear in the history of sport hunting in Croatia! This huge bear, scored well over 540 CIC points, and was estimated to be more than 25 years old. Benyi also took an excellent second bear, scoring over 440 CIC.  He is returning to Croatia in 2019 for some of the other species that Croatia has to offer including; mouflon, Axis deer and wild boar.

After the closure of Romania last year, Croatia is the last country in Western Europe that still allows hunting for European brown bear. If this is a species you want to collect, do not wait any longer.  Croatia may be forced to close at any time by protectionist forces in the European Union.  The bear population is healthy and great trophies can still be had.

Croatia is also the most popular destination nowadays for European mouflon and hybrid Kri Kri ibex, not to mention sightseeing, great food and wine. Bookings for next year are coming in every week, so do not wait, if you want to hunt Croatia next year.
